The 4th's festivities

4th of July!
We tried to make today as fun and "fourth of July-ie" as possible but it just wasnt quite the same with out fireworks, Root Beer and of course family. But we did the best we could with what we had and were in Hamburg for goodness sakes so... were not complaining.
But happy birthday to America and Mackenna!
For the day Bailee and I walked 2 hours to the zoo to just see it and plan for when we can go in with our hubbies and an hour and a half back ( we got lost on the way there...) so we were exhausted most the day. But we made a great big American meal for us all got Hamburg made soda for drinks. Not very good... but fun to try.

 Found a party on the streets with food and little street shops. So fun!

 This girl is from Australia. Lives in Berlin. Comes up to Hamburg to sell hats. I just thought she was so lovely.
